Here’s my go-to method for making mashed potatoes.
Rich and creamy, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly simple to prepare, these mashed potatoes are a certain hit at any gathering.

Simply combine potatoes with salt, butter, milk, or cream (for a more intense finish).
If you have the perfect method down, you won’t even need any more seasonings.
INGREDIENTS
1.5 kg potatoes, peeled and cut into 2.5cm cubes
1 tbsp salt (for cooking)
50 g unsalted butter
85 ml warm milk
1/2 tsp salt
Garnish:
Extra melted butter
Chives or parsley
DIRECTIONS
